TWIMS is a weekend conference that rotates among institutions in Texas. The 2022 meeting was hosted at Rice in a dual-delivery format.
Plenary lectures were given by Pallavi Dani (Louisiana State University) and Cristina Villalobos (The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley). The program also included opportunities for early-career mathematicians to present work and meet colleagues.
Organizing committee: Sara Edelman-Munoz (Math), Rachael Alfant (CAAM), Bilyana Tzolova (CAAM), Jaihee Choi (Stat), Shelley Harvey (Math), and Jesse Chan (CAAM).
Rice AWM later received the AWM Student Chapter Award for Scientific Excellence for organizing this symposium.
